the season is here

the music season is in full swing here in chennai...even with office and exams cuming up i have attended and plan to attend at least 15 concerts....until now sowmya's nandanar charithram concert for jaya t.v & nedanuri maama's concert at the academy get my vote for the best of the season...


the knowledge tht sowmya has is just ammmaaazing.....she cums thru as the most dedicated & hardworking musician ever...hats of to tht lady...truly inspiring personality...


nedanuri maamaa we all know...but to sing like this at 81 i think is almost next to impossible...wat stamina u need and wat wil power...i just think there is some power in carnatic music which gives u an inner strengt to just go on & on & on.....

man...i just realised i have named my blog carnaticmusicforall but it doesnt contain anything on music .....

actually i am very passionate abt carnatic music..will give as much info as i can from nw on it....so everyone can learn to appreciate it..

A TC can change ur life

all u people out there pls keep ur TC's very safely....i am in a position now where my dream of doin aPh.d in music has been crashed coz i misplaced my TC....the university is not willing to admit me without the original TC and my dear college is not ready to give me a duplicate unless i produce a copy of the FIR (for the lost TC!!)

my life is hanging in hte balance....

here's hoping god does some miracle.......

isnt there life beyond getting married and having children..???the minute a girl turns 23 or 24 relatives whom u never knew existed come to the aid of the unassuming girl's parents and somehow push the girl into the binds of 'holy matrimony'....can everybody leave the girls alone...for heaven's sake they have the right ot decide wen they want to get married.......

hi this is my first experience with a blog.idont know wat to write.guess i will get used to it after a while.

i would like to start my blogging by writing abt music,which is the reason for my very existence.i love music.i have grown up listening to carnatic music and hence tht is my first passion.i also luv hindustani classical and ghazals.

i dnt know anything at all abt western music.

music ,in some form,is sought by everybody.it serves as a healer.music helps people forget everything.while for some it is classical music,for others it is hardcore rock.

whatever it maybe,the world it functioning 'cos of it.
